In 2012, Hunt won the Huddersfield Young Player of the Year award and in the same season, was in the PFA Team of the Year for League One and won the play-offs with the Terriers.

In 2013, Jack Hunt completed a two million pound move from the West Yorkshire side to Crystal Palace. Unfortunately, he never made a single appearance for the club and two seasons later, he joined the Owls on loan. He impressed in his loan spell where he made 19 appearances and Wednesday made the deal permanent for an undisclosed fee.

FACT: Hunt joined the Huddersfield Town youth squad at just nine.

FACT: The man from Rothwell also played against the Owls in Wednesday’s memorable 3-2 victory over Rotherham United and he nearly scored!
