Westwood has two honours to his name. The first is the Football League Two title which he won with Carlisle United in the 2005/06 season. He then won the Nations Cup in 2011.

However, he has six individual honours to his name. The first two of these were won in the 2007/08 season where he made it into the Football League One PFA Team of the Year and also won the Player of the Year at Carlisle United. In the following campaign, he was in the PFA Team of the Year for the Championship this time with Coventry City. Then, in the 2009/10 season, he was named as The Sky Blues’ Player of the Year. His most recent awards were in the 2014/15 season where he was once again in the PFA Team of the Year for the Championship and won Wednesday’s Player of the Year.

FACT: Westwood only has one career red card. He was sent off in Wednesday’s 3-2 defeat to Derby County in February 2015.
