Match preview: Leeds United vs Sheffield Wednesday

In the early Sky Bet Championship match this Saturday, the Owls travel to local rivals and fellow play-off chasers, Leeds United.

Wednesday will be looking for revenge after The Whites claimed a 2-0 win at Hillsborough back in August. Marcus Antonsson and Chris Wood were on target.

Additionally, Carvalhal’s men will be looking for the Owls’ first win in Leeds since March 2007 (the goals came from Marcus Tudgay, Chris Brunt and Jermaine Johnson).

Wednesday will be looking to recover after there winning streak came to an end after a 1-2 defeat at Hillsborough to Brentford on Tuesday night. However, Leeds, who didn’t play midweek, earned a point at Portman Road on Saturday.
